The Carmel Chamber’s Nancy Blondin Scholarship was started in 2000 to honor Nancy, who was president of the Carmel Chamber from 1986 to 2000. The $4,000 scholarship, awarded $1,000 each year for four years, is available exclusively to children of employees whose companies are Carmel Chamber members. Students who work for companies that are members of the Chamber are not eligible, unless that company is owned by a parent.

The Chamber’s Scholarship Committee will award the scholarship to an in-state high school student based on equal weighting of activities, both in school and out; academic achievement; quality of a written essay about the person who has most influenced his/her chosen career determination; and need.

Scholarship applications are due April 23, 2010.
