The Carmel Chamber offers events throughout the year for members and those interested in joining the Chamber. From access to informative speakers and educational programs that bring you the latest business topics to networking and socializing opportunities that will put you in front of thousands of future clients, the Carmel Chamber offers a wide selection of events to fit your specific needs.

Event dates and reservations

Arrows Young Professionals
Arrows, the Carmel Chamber specialty group for young professionals under 40, offers social networking events along with educational opportunities. Joint events with young professional groups associated with the other Hamilton County Chambers are also held throughout the year. Events are free for members and their guests.

Business Roundabout
Held throughout the year, Business Roundabouts offer Chamber members the opportunity to connect after hours while enjoying drinks and appetizers at a member business. Events are free for members and those considering joining the Chamber.

Business Over Bagels
Learn over breakfast as a local business leader presents a topic of interest to small businesses and leads discussion. Events are held quarterly at member business Baker & Daniels and are free for members. Non-members are welcome for a small fee. Reservations are required.

Golf Classic
The annual Golf Classic, a fundraiser for the Chamber, will celebrate its 25th anniversary at Woodland Country Club in 2010, making it the longest continuing Chamber golf outing in Hamilton County. A volunteer committee organizes the event, and member businesses can be involved by playing as a foursome or individual, sponsoring the event or volunteering.

Legislative Breakfast
The Hamilton County Business Issues Committee, representing all six Hamilton County Chambers, establishes an annual agenda and conducts a Legislative Breakfast series. The Committee was created to provide county-based businesses with opportunities to share their concerns with elected officials and to influence the direction of business-friendly legislation. The events are held January through May and members and non-members are welcome to attend. Pre-paid reservations are required.

Lunch With… & Breakfast With… Series
This special members-only series offers an opportunity to enjoy lunch or breakfast and an informal conversation with a local community or business leader and the Carmel Chamber president. Space is limited. Pre-paid reservations are required.

Monthly Luncheon
Luncheons are held the second Wednesday of each month from noon to 1:30 p.m. at a member facility and offer the opportunity to hear the latest Chamber news and a featured speaker while dining on a plated, served meal. December’s luncheon is the annual Images of Excellence Awards presentation, at which member businesses and individuals are honored in multiple categories. Non-members are welcome, and pre-paid reservations are required for members and non-members. Sponsorships with table space and promotional opportunities are available to members only.

Network Breakfast
Make a new business contact every two minutes as you “speed date” to connect and do business at this structured networking event. Member businesses host the event, providing breakfast to participants. Non-members are welcome, and pre-paid reservations are required for members and non-members.

Ribbon Cuttings
Members can promote their businesses when celebrating a significant event such as a grand opening, expansion, a move to a new facility or an anniversary. To make your ceremony more memorable, the Carmel Chamber will bring their “ceremonial” scissors and a colored ribbon/bow of your choice at no charge for members. Ribbon Cuttings can be held Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and a minimum of two weeks’ notice is required.

Taste of the Chamber
Not only is Taste of the Chamber a sampling of the Chamber’s best businesses, it’s also the chance to network, make connections, taste delicious foods from member restaurants and socialize with guests and exhibitors. Sponsorships with prime table space and promotional opportunities, along with space for table displays at the business fair, are available to members only.
